A quick walk from downtown Providence, just over the highway, New Urban Arts will be hosting The Birthday Bash on Friday, April 12, 2019, from 7pm to 10pm. Located at 705 Westminster Street, this annual fundraising event will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of NUA’s afterschool and summer arts programs for Providence public high school students. Tickets are $35 and are available both online and at the door. All sales benefit NUA’s programming.

Celebrating two decades of arts mentorship, creative practice, and community building, THE BIRTHDAY BASH will feature a silent art auction and raffle, treats from delicious local restaurants, and an open bar courtesy of Bottles Fine Wine and The East End. Please note that this event is strictly 21-plus.

The evening’s program also includes an award ceremony honoring three members of the New Urban Arts community who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to our youth.

“Our vital work empowering young people’s creativity depends on the support of our community,” says NUA Executive Director Daniel Schleifer. “Whether you’re a longtime supporter or you’re hearing of New Urban Arts for the first time, we hope to see you there.”
