The Downtown Neighborhood Association’s May Events

Join your neighbors for the next Providence Downtown Neighborhood Association meeting Tuesday, May 8 at The Pavilion at Grace Church, 300 Westminster Street. The meeting starts at 6:30 PM, and light refreshments from the soon-to-open Yoleni’s will be served. All are welcome!

This month, representatives from the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy will speak about the work they are doing in the neighborhood, including their free summer programming, monument restoration projects and volunteer opportunities.

Also happening in May in partnership with the Providence Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), Administering Nasal Narcan (uses & techniques). This event takes place on May 14th from 6–8:30pm at the PEMA offices. All the details on this training event are in their Facebook event.

The DNA formed in October 2015 to represent the voice of downtown residents. We recently spoke with the DNA board about the organization’s accomplishments and plans for the future. Read the full feature here, and be sure to like them on Facebook to stay up to date on announcements and events.
