The unofficial kick off to spring in Downtown Providence is always Indowncity’s Cinco de Mayo TacoFest. This year the Indowncity team has put together another fun block party full of tacos, margaritas and fun for the whole family.

The event is taking place on Saturday, May 5, from 11am – 6pm in Grant’s Block. Once again this year, Indowncity has teamed up with the Rock and Roll Yard Sale who will have vendors set up with one of a kind handmade and vintage items. Many of the local shops on Westminster Street will have sidewalk sales or special fun such as free temporary tattoos at Homestyle.

And then there’s the food! A dozen food vendors, with options even for those who may not be fans of tacos, will be in Grant’s Block. Sangria, margaritas and alcohol-free beverages will be for sale from some of your favorite Providence spots.
