The Rhode Island Foundation is launching a new initiative, TogetherRI, to bring Rhode Islanders together to connect and talk about common interests and goals – and dinner is on them!
According to The Rhode Island Foundation, “Each and every Rhode Islander has a role to play in ensuring our collective success. Together RI will give us an opportunity to find out more about what that means – person to person – and how we might work together to achieve it. These conversations will be a neutral place for dialogue on topics that are critical to our common future, and a place where we hope the recent tendency toward divisiveness and polarization will be left at the door.”
Join one of 20 community dinners, catered by Emery’s Catering, around the state taking place at schools, community centers and other well known and accessible locations. Each event will offer guests the chance to talk face-to-face with each other over family-style meals. Each event is free and open to the public. Registration is suggested, but not required.
There will be two different events taking place this spring in Providence.
