Please join us in congratulating Frank LaTorre on his new position as Executive Director of the Providence Downtown Improvement District (DID). Frank’s position was announced by the DID’s Board of Directors after having served as Interim Executive Director since July.
Since the DID’s launch in 2005, Frank has served in the roles of Director of Public Space, and subsequently as Senior Director. His career highlights include collaborations with key stakeholder groups as the Chairman of the Providence Hospitality Resource Partnership (HRP), which addresses nightlife issues in Downtown Providence, and serves as Co-Chair of the Downtown Security Network. He is a 2015 graduate of the inaugural Citizens Police Academy.
A staple personality in Downtown Providence, Frank will surely perform his new job with the enthusiasm and energy he brings to all his work. Congratulations, Frank!
