The Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy invites the public to join them as they celebrate the grand opening of Brandon’s Beach at Burnside Park! The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 11:30 AM on Thursday, August 17th in the new playground within Greater Kennedy Plaza, and will be followed by an Ocean State themed party until 1 PM. Children of all ages are welcome to attend for face painting, art making, food trucks, and of course, exploring the new equipment!
