Experience 12 incredible hours of music, art, performance, kid and family-friendly activities, hands-on interactive art experiences, DIY technology, delectable food and drink, and much more at AS220’s Foo Fest! Running since 1995, this annual block party fundraiser highlights local arts, culture, music and creativity on Saturday, August 12th, from 1 PM to 1 AM, both inside and outdoors on Empire Street. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. You can also sign up to volunteer for a 3 hour shift to get free admission!

Hosted by Annie B. Frank, the lineup includes: Cakes Da Killa, Lightning Bolt, HOTT BOYZ, LIFERS, Midriffs, Iris Creamer, Minibeast, HAIRSPRAY QUEEN, Goon Planet, Funeral Cone, The Funk Underground, Jodi Jolt and The Volt, NEUTRINOS, Queen Elephantine, The Daily Note, Bellerophon, edgar clinks, D.Valor & Pyrex Lex, Hell Bent, Lady Queen Paradise, ZuKrewe, and Blackout Drum Squad.

Participate in activities led by AS220, CityArts, Gather Glass, Tina Caine and Laura Moire Marciano, Blick Art Materials, and more. Look for interactive performances and installations by artists Jennifer “Vinegar” Avery, Corrine Wahlberg, and Joe-Lou, while viewing Kate Atchinson’s Community Paper Quilt and Leslie Atik’s Weaving Project.

Throughout the day, you’ll find plenty of food options from vendors Championship Melt, Del’s Frozen Lemonade, Dudley’s Hot Dog Cart, Ellie’s Ice Cream Sandwich Cart, Julian’s Omnibus, Like No Udder, Nico Bella’s, Poco Loco Tacos, and Tina’s Jamaican.
