Help to make biking better in Providence!

Share your thoughts on biking here by taking this online community survey from People For Bikes, which closes on April 15th. The data will feed into the new city rating system launched by the PlacesForBikes program.

Providence is one of ten US cities selected to participate in the Big Jump program by People for Bikes. The Providence Dept. of Planning & Development will participate in a three-year effort to achieve a big jump in biking – a doubling or tripling of people riding – by building a network of safe and comfortable places to ride and engaging the community. This project will help the city complete its planned high-comfort bike infrastructure in the defined CityWalk focus area within the Jewelry District and South Providence. The Big Jump also offers resources  such as peer exchanges with national and international experts, targeted grants that will assist with implementation, training, best practices, and research on community outreach and communications for the project, and national media attention.
