On Saturday, October 29th at 7:30 PM, Cirque Mechanics will perform Pedal Punk, a steampunk-inspired spectacle of acrobats, cyclists, and one-of-a-kind machines, at The Vets. Tickets run from $18-78.
Experience the excitement and artistry of acrobats and funambulists dangling and twirling from a massive pedal-powered Gantry Bike. Pedal Punk kicks of FirstWorks’ Artistic Icons Series, which also includes performances by the Paul Taylor Dance Company and Rennie Harris Puremovement in February.
Plan to arrive early on Saturday! The pre-show jumpstarts with RI Recycle-A-Bike and Jump! Dance Company at 6:30 PM. And on Friday, October 28th from 5-8 PM, meet Cirque Mechanics’ Artistic Director Chris Lashua at Bike to Beer at The Malted Barley, 334 Westminster Street.
