Participate in a weekend long celebration of breast cancer survivors, their loved ones, and those who continue to battle the disease. On Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd, Flames of Hope: A Celebration of Life™ includes educational activities, an outdoor festival, a special WaterFire, and a run/walk series.

The celebration kicks off on Saturday with the Passport to Wellness healthy living expo at the Omni Providence from 8 AM to 2 PM. It continues from 3 PM to midnight at the Celebration of Life Festival in Station Park, featuring music, food, and interactive displays. At dusk, gather on the Rhode Island State House steps for the Illuminations of Life Ceremony, a tribute featuring speakers, the state ballet, and the annual survivor torch procession to WaterFire.

Keep moving on Sunday by registering for the Gloria Gemma Run/Walk Series. The Kids Fun Run starts at 9 AM, followed by Pink Pump Palooza at 10 and the 5K for Adults & Kids at 11. Find more info here.
