Volunteer with the Downtown Neighborhood Association: Saturday, October 8th

crawford-street-3Let’s continue the momentum! Over the past few months, the Providence Downtown Neighborhood Association has joined the Providence Dept. of Parks & Recreation and Rhode Island School of Design on a transformative riverwalk repair project. Together, they gathered more than 120 volunteers to replace broken and missing cables and paint more than 150 rail pillars on a ½ mile stretch. It’s made a tremendous impact!

Join the DNA for its next project: sanding and painting the railings on the Crawford Street Bridge on Saturday, October 8th! The work begins at 8:30 AM and is expected to end around noon. Meet the group on the bridge across from 123 Dyer on the west and 121 South Main Street on the east. Sign up through Eventbrite, and have fun working with your neighbors to make the area even better!
