Nothing says summer like meeting your friends outside at Grants Block to watch your favorite movies under the stars. In just a few weeks, Movies on the Block will kick off its 9th season in downtown Providence! Films are screened on Thursday nights, starting at dusk, from early June through the end of September, and they’re always free!
A few tips: Make the most of your experience by arriving early and setting up your beach chairs or blankets in a comfortable spot for an outdoor picnic. Leave your pets at home, and if you’re driving downtown, make sure to feed the parking meters until 9 PM.
In case of rain, movies may be rescheduled for the following night, so check Facebook and the Indowncity blog often! Here’s the schedule:
