Downtown will be overflowing with activity throughout the tournament, from outdoor block parties to the Slam Dunk WaterFire on Friday, March 18th, sponsored by Dunkin’ Donuts. The partial lighting will start at 7:20 PM, shortly after sunset, and will continue through 11 PM. Starting at 6 PM, join the Slam Dunk Shootout at Union Station Plaza, where a $5 donation to WaterFire gives you a chance to shoot hoops and win fun prizes! Enjoy samples from Dunkin’ Donuts too.
Keep in mind: parking will be at a premium during the tournament, and we expect heavy traffic around the downtown area. The city will extend the time limit to 6 hours at parking meters on Fountain Street, West Exchange Street, and Exchange Terrace during the games, so check the meters carefully!
