Get Gored for Good: April 26th

gored mapGet ready to run with the bulls! For the third year, Amos House is organizing Get Gored for Good: The Providence Running of the Bulls on Sunday, April 26th. As a runner, you’ll navigate a two mile downtown route while being chased by women from the Providence Roller Derby, armed with horned helmets and brushes covered in red paint.

Check in and registration are held at Waterplace Plaza from 10-10:45 AM, and the encierro (Bull Run) starts at 11. From noon to 3 PM, join other runners for an outdoor after party in Burnside Park, sponsored by Shawmut Design and Construction, with local food, drinks, live music, and activities.

Get Gored for Good is presented by East Commerce Solutions. Proceeds benefit Amos House, a nonprofit social services agency that provides direct support services for men, women, and children in Rhode Island who are hungry, experiencing homelessness and in crisis. Last year, the event raised over $120,000.

Registration is still open, and costs $35 for adults and $20 for children under 14. Sign up  on your own or as part of a team at getforedforgood.org.
