2015 promises to be an exciting year for the landmark Arcade. New shops are opening, others are expanding, and the residential community continues to grow!
For Valentine’s Day, take advantage of an amazing special at Alex Anthony Curl & Blowout Bar, which is offering a blowout and makeup for $60. Looking for sweet gifts for your loved ones? You’ll find beautiful cook books, tasty delicacies, and well-designed home goods at environs.
In March, Lore Collection, which ran a holiday pop-up shop on Broadway will open in the Arcade! The shop features objects from innovative, contemporary, independent artists and designers, mainly based in New England.
Look out for these expansions as well:
- Carmen & Ginger is growing! The owner has already finished the shop’s new door and exposed a brick wall as she gets ready to take on a larger footprint. She’s now busy painting, installing new lighting and fixtures, and extending the flooring. Keep your eyes open for even more amazing vintage goods!
- Nude is also doubling in size, giving consumers expanded access to local designer clothing!
- Glistening Goddesses will open its second location in March, offering organic, custom spray tans. It joins sister business Goddess Closet.
In other news, the press can’t get enough of this historic building! Read PBN’s feature on the residential microlofts, a mention in an Examiner.com story on Providence, and Zagat’s reference to New Harvest Coffee & Spirits as a trend-setting coffee/whiskey bar.
