The Dean Hotel Opens Downtown!

We are so excited to welcome a new independently owned hotel to downtown Providence! The highly anticipated Dean Hotel opened last week at 122 Fountain Street, just a block from Trinity Rep, the Dunkin’ Donuts Center, and the RI Convention Center. Originally built as church housing, the renovated building complements our existing hotel offerings in a creative way, offering 52 pet-friendly guest rooms above a beer hall, coffee shop, cocktail den and karaoke bar, which will all open soon.

The Dean is stylish yet affordable. You’ll find rooms decorated with a combination of photographs, vintage pieces, and locally made bed frames, desks and side tables. Looking for a small space to crash for the night? Consider staying in ‘The Kin’ room, which sleeps two in a bunk bed, starting at $79/night. Need a little more room to spread out? Book ‘The Mates,’ which features a queen bed, starting at $109/night. For larger parties, contact the hotel to reserve ‘The Heights,’ which offers four connecting rooms on the top floor.

With outdoor seating and a bright exterior ‘Hotel’ sign, we expect the Dean to activate this stretch of the downtown core. We hope you’ll visit soon! Until then, read what the press is already saying, and follow the Dean on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
