Summer Reading Programs at Providence Public Library

The Providence Public Library invites you to a kick-off celebration featuring Dinoman Dinosaurs on Saturday, June 29th in the 3rd floor auditorium from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. From 10:30-noon, you can also register to participate in the adult reading program in the PPL foyer. Other special programs include:

  • Sarah Gardner: Underground Music. Tuesday, July 9th, 10:30 AM. 3rd floor meeting room.
  • Deenie Pacik Giuliano: Fused Glass Pendant Workshop. Saturday, July 13th, 10:30 AM. 3rd floor meeting room.
  • Eric Fulford: Creating Comic Books. Saturday, July 27th, 10:30 AM. 3rd floor meeting room.
  • Malik the Magician: Magic at the Library. Saturday, August 3rd, 10:30 AM. 3rd floor auditorium.

Throughout the summer, you can also participate in weekly Thursday Adventure Nights with stories, crafts, and activities from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. And on Fridays from July 5th through August 9th, enjoy the Family Friday Film Series, starting at 2 PM.

On August 10th, summer reading activities will conclude with an End of Summer Party in the Ship Room from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. All readers are encouraged to bring their reading logs to receive a certificate and enter a raffle.
