Lace up your skates

Ice skating season has started at the Bank of America City Center! Visit the 14,000 square foot rink in the heart of the city, combining fresh air and exercise with fun music and great people-watching!

Through March 3rd, you can skate Monday through Friday from 10 am to 10 pm, and on weekends from 11 am to 10 pm. On Thanksgiving Day, the rink opens at 4 pm, with regular hours resuming on Friday, November 23rd.

Amazing activities are scheduled this year including a Brown Bears hockey team open skate at 4 pm on Friday, November 23rd; the city’s tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, December 1st; and “Skate with Santa” on December 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd. On January 5th, you can also watch the Providence Bruins practice, starting at 11 am, and then join them for a skate and autograph signing at noon.

Adults pay $6, while seniors and children pay $3. Skate rentals cost $4. You can also purchase season passes with options ranging from weekday lunch passes for $45 to family passes for $160. Looking for specials? Providence residents can skate free and pay $2 for skate rentals with valid ID. Wednesdays are College Nights, offering students $3 admission and $3 rentals with valid ID. Workweek specials are also offered from 12-2 pm and 4-6 pm, Monday through Friday. Groups are welcome for parties, and lessons are offered throughout the season.
