Working downtown offers healthy benefits. Throughout the fall, you can take advantage of Farm Fresh Rhode Island’s newest program, Veggie Box. It’s a weekly delivery of fresh produce to workplaces starting right after Labor Day and continuing for 8 weeks. Employees pay $160 in full at the beginning and receive $20 worth of fresh veggies from local farms every Friday afternoon. The boxes will also contain newsletters with recipes and information about the food.

And don’t forget, the Downtown Market continues at Kennedy Plaza (on the Fulton Street side by 100 Westminster) from 11am–2 pm every Friday through October 28th. Vendors include Schartner Farms, Simmons Farm, the Cupcakerie, Providence Granola Project, Hill Orchards, and Absalona Greenhouse.
