Skating season is underway at the Alex and Ani City Center!

The Providence Rink at the Alex and Ani City Center is now open for the 2017/18 season! Weather permitting, you can now skate every day between 10 AM and 10 PM through the end of February (except for holidays and during special events). Stop by the ticket office at 2 Kennedy Plaza to purchase your admission and skate rental tickets before heading to the skate rental office below the Exchange Terrace tunnel. Adult tickets are $7, while children (12 and younger), seniors (65 and older) and those affiliated with the military pay $4.

Admission tickets give you 4 hours of skating from the time of purchase, but exit and re-entry is not allowed. Skates cost $6 to rent, while locker rental costs an additional $3. Helmets are free! Interested in coming back throughout the season? Consider buying season passes, which cost $120 for adults, $75 for children and seniors, or $250 for a family pass. The rink offers several specials too, such as $5 admission during lunchtime (12-2 PM, Monday through Friday), after work (4-6 PM, Monday through Friday), and on College Skate Night (for those with college IDs on Wednesday nights from 6-10 PM). If you’re out of practice, sign up for a private or group lesson! Contact one of the instructors to schedule an appointment.
