HASCON FANmily™ event: September 8-10

The fun doesn’t end in downtown Providence after Labor Day! From September 8-10, global play and entertainment company Hasbro is planning its first ever HASCON FANmily™ event at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin’ Donuts Center. The weekend will feature performances, previews, meet and greets, panel discussions, autograph sessions, and other activities. HASCON will bring Hasbro’s most iconic brands to life including Transformers, My Little Pony, Nerf, Magic: The Gathering, Play-Doh, Monopoly and G.I. Goe.

The all-star line up features a performance and meet and greet with Multi-Platinum GRAMMY® Award-Winning singer-songwriter Daya, a performance by GRAMMY®-nominated rapper and singer-songwriter Flo Rida, a meet and greet with dance icon Maddie Ziegler, panel discussions with Marvel Commics legend Stan Lee, writer and director James Gunn, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Dude Perfect and many more. Meet actor Mark Wahlberg, MLB-retired designated hitter David “Big Papi” Ortiz, Boston Red Sox center fielder Jackie Bradley Jr., and New England Patriots running back and Super Bowl™ 51 Hero James White, and more. Single day tickets are $60 for adults (ages 16 and up), $30 for youth (ages 3-15) and FREE for kids ages 2 and younger. Three day tickets are $165 for adults and $75 for youth. A variety of ticket badge add ons are also available.

Please note: The Convention Center’s South Garage will be closed to the public during HACON. Also, RIPTA will temporarily relocate bus stops in front of the RI Convention Center from Sept. 7-10. Passengers on routes 27, 28 and 92 passengers may board buses on Broadway, Atwells Avenue or in Kennedy Plaza, and Park N’ Ride passengers may board buses at Bus Stop X or on Empire Street.
