Skating season is finally here! The ALEX AND ANI City Center will open at 4 PM on Wednesday, November 23rd, and should remain open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM until March, weather permitting. Hours are subject to change on the holidays.
Regular rates are $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12, seniors over 65, and members of the military that show proper ID. Skate rentals cost $6. Providence residents are invited to skate for free on the first Saturday of each month, through February. (Rental fees still apply).
If you’re planning to come back often, purchase a season pass! They are $120 for adults, $250 for families of four, and $75 for children, seniors, and military.
The rink offers several weekday specials to keep you coming back:
- College Night: Wednesdays from 6-10 PM. Admission is $5 with a valid college photo ID and skate rentals cost $6.
- Lunchtime and After Work Specials: Monday through Friday, 12-2 PM and 4-6 PM. Admission is $5 and skate rentals cost $6.
- Open Ice Figure Skating: Monday through Friday, 8-10 AM. $10 for 30 minutes and $18 for an hour.
Beginners have nothing to fear! You can schedule lessons with one of the certified in-house Learn to Skate Instructors. Children can also rent penguin skate aids, and teens and adults can rent snowmen skate aids. Safety helmets are also available at the ticket counter.
