Skating season is finally here! The ALEX AND ANI City Center will open at 4 PM on Wednesday, November 23rd, and should remain open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM until March, weather permitting. Hours are subject to change on the holidays.

Regular rates are $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12, seniors over 65, and members of the military that show proper ID. Skate rentals cost $6. Providence residents are invited to skate for free on the first Saturday of each month, through February. (Rental fees still apply).

If you’re planning to come back often, purchase a season pass! They are $120 for adults, $250 for families of four, and $75 for children, seniors, and military.

The rink offers several weekday specials to keep you coming back:

  • College Night: Wednesdays from 6-10 PM. Admission is $5 with a valid college photo ID and skate rentals cost $6.
  • Lunchtime and After Work Specials: Monday through Friday, 12-2 PM and 4-6 PM. Admission is $5 and skate rentals cost $6.
  • Open Ice Figure Skating: Monday through Friday, 8-10 AM. $10 for 30 minutes and $18 for an hour.

Beginners have nothing to fear! You can schedule lessons with one of the certified in-house Learn to Skate Instructors. Children can also rent penguin skate aids, and teens and adults can rent snowmen skate aids. Safety helmets are also available at the ticket counter.

Find everything you need to know about winter skating and summer events at Weather closures and schedule changes will be posted on the site as necessary.
