Local businesses are invited to meet with entrepreneur Soren Ryherd of the Retail Project RI!

Since receiving the Rhode Island Innovation Fellowship in 2012, Soren has been building the Retail Project RI, a collection of built-from-scratch retail brands that are being marketed to a national audience. As he builds these brands, Soren has his eye on the “clicks-to-bricks” strategy currently being used by Amazon and Warby Parker: learn about your audience and refine your brand online, then use that knowledge to roll out brick and mortar channels as well.

Soren will be sharing his insights on growing a national online audience to support Rhode Island’s economy, his experience in gaining traction with eCommerce sales, working with dropship manufacturers, and other tales from the trenches in pushing forward his four retail brands: FelixChien.com, Urbilis.com, Slumbersome.com, and FetcherBay.com.
