Participate in the American Heart Association’s premier community event, the Heart Walk, on Sunday, June 5th. The walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment. It also celebrates those who have made healthy lifestyle changes and encourages many more to do so while raising money for life-saving research, education, and advocacy.
You can register in advance as an individual or as part of a team. When you raise $100 or more, you’ll receive a Heart Walk t-shirt. The festivities begin at 7 AM in Station Park, 100 Gaspee Street. The walk officially starts at 8:30 AM, and covers a 2 mile route. Kids ages 5-12 can also participate in a half mile obstacle course, the Kids Heart Challenge, sponsored by CVS Health, starting at 10 AM. Stay until 11 for food, music, kids’ activities and more!
