Buy tickets for some of the tastiest events in town—all part of the fifth annual Eat Drink RI Festival. It kicks off at 6 PM on Thursday, April 28th with Dinner by Dames, a five course dinner with cocktail pairings at the Roger Williams Park Casino. Tickets are $140 including tax, gratuity and a charitable donation to Sojourner House.
On Friday, April 29th, the Truck Stop to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank returns to the ALEX AND ANI City Center from 5:30 to 8:30 PM! This fun event features music by Superchief Trio; beverages from Jonathan Edwards Winery, Revival Brewing Company, and Yacht Club Soda; and food from Ellie’s Bakery, Fugo, Mijos Tacos, Noble Knots, Rocket Fine Street Food, Tallulah’s Taqueria, and others. It typically sells out early, so buy your tickets soon! They cost $75, and include food from all participating trucks plus one beverage. Purchase them directly through the food bank’s website.
On Saturday, April 30th, from noon to 4 PM, sample food from local artisans along with locally produced beer, wine and spirits at the Grand Tasting in Hall B at the RI Convention Center. See the list of exhibitors here! Several of Rhode Island’s top chefs will be paired with local farmers for special cooking demos, which you won’t want to miss. Tickets are $75.
The festival wraps up on Sunday with the Grand Brunch in the ballroom at the RI Convention Center, featuring many of the state’s best chefs and pastry chefs, plus a coffee bar by New Harvest Coffee Roasters and a cocktail bar by Little Bitte Artisanal Cocktails. While you eat, you’ll be entertained by student jazz musicians and the Chifferobe TropiGals. Tickets are $75 and benefit the Victoria Alviti Music Foundation.
