The Hunchback of Seville at Trinity Rep

Hunchback art 4 webThe Hunchback of Seville captures Spain at the turn of the 16th century, when the future of the country is in the hands of Maxima Terriblé Segunda, the brilliant adopted sister of dying HRH Queen Isabella. Watch as the reclusive, cat-loving Maxima weaves her way through the realities of prejudice, politics and religion in this bitingly funny production.

The show runs from February 4th through March 6th in Trinity Rep’s Dowling Theater. Buy tickets online, by calling (401) 351-4242, or by visiting the box office at 201 Washington Street.

Interested in special performances? Trinity Rep is hosting an accessible open caption performance on Sunday, February 7th at 2 PM. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased with the promotional code “OC.” After that show, stay for a youth panel discussion led by insightful teens, moderated by a Trinity Rep high school ambassador.

At noon on Friday, February 12th, come to a free Lunch and Learn at Trinity Rep to learn all about The Hunchback of Seville’s production secrets. RSVP to events@trinityrep.com with your name and contact info.

On Saturday, February 20th, the 2 PM matinee will be followed by a post-show discussion with members of Latino Voices/Voces Latinas, with light refreshments.
