Perfect for the whole family! Rhode Island’s holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol returns to Trinity Rep’s Chace Theater from November 7th through December 31st. In Charles Dickens’ classic tale, three ghosts visit greedy, sour businessman Ebenezer Scrooge, giving him a chance to examine his life. He is transformed by the spirit of Christmas, and is ultimately inspired to change his ways.
This season, the play is directed by Trinity Rep Artistic Director Curt Columbus, with music direction by Michael Rice, and choreography by Shura Baryshnikov. It runs for an hour and forty five minutes, including a 15 minute intermission. Buy tickets here.
At noon on November 14th, Trinity Rep will present a special sensory friendly performance, featuring modified sound, lighting and other adjustments to meet the needs of children and adults on the autism spectrum, and/or individuals with sensory processing disorders or other cognitive disabilities. Patrons are invited to make sounds, and enter and exit as needed during the performance. ASL interpretation is also available during this performance. Tickets are $25.
