On Friday, October 2nd, business and community leaders will celebrate The Providence Foundation’s history, extraordinary accomplishments and partnerships, and learn what’s to come in the next decade! With a mix of dinner, dancing and conversation, guests will also celebrate milestones for the two organizations creating a positive impact in downtown as a part of the Foundation: the 10th anniversary of the Downtown Providence Improvement District (DID) and the 7th anniversary of the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy (DPPC).
Thank you to our Honorary Chairs, many of whom will join us for the evening: U.S. Senator Jack Reed; U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and Dr. Sandra Whitehouse; U.S. Representative David Cicilline; U.S. Representative James Langevin; Governor Gina Raimondo and Mr. Andrew Moffit; Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza; Providence Council President Luis Aponte; Providence Councilman Seth Yurdin; President Christina Paxson, Brown University; President Rosanne Somerson, RISD; President John Bowen, Johnson & Wales.
