It’s the best time of the year…with the sun shining, the freshest fruits and vegetables growing, and Providence Restaurant Weeks kicking off next weekend! Locals love supporting their favorite restaurants and trying new ones during Providence Restaurant Weeks, celebrating its 10th anniversary! The Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau started the event in July 2006 with one week and 40 participating restaurants. Since then, it has grown into a twice yearly event (in January and July), and it’s doubled in size.

From July 12th through the 25th, restaurants are offering three course price fixe lunch specials for $14.95 and dinners for $29.95 or $34.95, excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity. Within downtown, visit these participating eateries:

Lunch and dinner ($34.95): Aspire, Capital Grille, Circe, McCormick’s & Schmick’s, Ten Prime Steak & Sushi

Dinner only ($29.95): Garde de la Mer

Dinner only ($34.95): Cafe Nuovo, Capriccio, Centro Restaurant & Lounge, The Dorrance, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Gracie’s, Local 121, Pot Au Feu, Rogue Island Local Kitchen & Bar

Dinner only (two for one, $34.95): Bravo Brasserie
