Join over 4,000 runners on Sunday in downtown Providence! The 7th annual Cox Providence Rhode Races will feature races for people of all ages and abilities: a full marathon, a half marathon, a 5K and a kids race.
This is one of the fastest growing, most affordable races in the Northeast! Both the marathon and half marathon are USATF certified, and the marathon is a 2015 Boston Marathon qualifier. Marathon runners will start at the Bank of America City Center downtown at 7:30 AM and head south towards the East Bay, while half marathon runners will start downtown at 8 AM, head along the river to India Point Park and then head north into Pawtucket before turning back down Blackstone Boulevard towards downtown. Runners will start the 5K race at 8:15 AM, followed by the kids race at 8:20.
Not a runner? Show up to cheer them on along the way, or simply check the course maps to adjust your travel plans accordingly. For more details, follow the Cox Providence Rhode Races on Facebook and Twitter.
