Celebrate Cinco de Mayo a few days early! In Downcity and the Downcity neighborhood merchants are organizing an expanded block party on Saturday, May 3^rd from noon to 6 PM. This free, family-friendly event spans Westminster Street from Eddy to Mathewson, with additional vendors from the Providence Rock n’ Roll Yard Sale on Grants Block selling vintage records, books, jewelry, and handmade crafts.

Listen to DJ Studebaker Hawk and Brown University’s Mariachi de Brown while devouring tasty tacos and treats from local restaurants and food trucks including Poco Loco, Tallulah’s Tacos, Mijos, Like No Udder, Ellie’s Bakery, and Bodega Malasana. Wash them down with margaritas, sangria, and beer from Trinity Brewhouse.
