The URI Feinstein Providence campus is following its March 26th panel discussion entitled ‘Whose City?’ with ‘Your City! The Struggle for Equity and Diversity in Providence and Cities Around the World’ at 7 PM on Tuesday, April 8th.
Join the conversation at Paff Auditorium! Hear featured speaker Don Mitchell, PhD, the Distinguished Professor of Geography in the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and author of The Right to the City (2003 Guilford Press), best known for his work on cultural theory and the People’s Geography Project. He will be joined by panelists Buff Chace, the managing general partner of Cornish Associates; Renee Hobbs, PhD, Professor and Founding Director of the University of Rhode Island’s Harrington School of Communication and Media; Fred Ordonez, Executive Director, Direct Action for Rights and Equality; and Jori Ketten of Pronk!.
