On Thursday, November 21st, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, join AS220 and the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture + Tourism for a community conversation about the cultural life of our downtown. As a group, we’ll discuss current resources, share ideas about emerging opportunities that will further activate the neighborhood, and talk about ways to better respond to the needs of cultural communities.
Presenters will share an overview of resources available through AS220 and Providence’s Department of Art, Culture + Tourism. Participants will start by collectively and visually mapping out the resources available, and will end with a review of recommendations for next steps.
Register here to share your experience of downtown arts and culture with others. Bring ideas about how your organization might contribute to downtown’s vibrancy – and what you need to help us reach the downtown arts & entertainment district’s full potential.
Admission is free, and light snacks will be served. You can park for free in the parking lot behind the Joseph A. Doorley, Jr. Municipal Building on Greene Street.
