This week, RIPTA is holding public hearings throughout the state on proposed service changes resulting from the ongoing Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA). Downtown residents and employees should come to the Commerce Center at 30 Exchange Terrace on Thursday, May 30th from 11 am—1 pm to learn about the proposed changes, designed to direct transit resources in a more effective way.

They include new routes and express services, scheduling improvements, modified route alignments, frequency changes, and the discontinuation of certain routes and segments. Fifty-six regular bus routes and all Park and Ride services would be affected. Details are available on ripta.com.
