Spend a sunny afternoon poolside at Regency Plaza to show your support for one of Providence’s longest running free art events. Gallery Night, now celebrating its 16th season, is holding its second annual fundraiser, ART SPLASH!, on Saturday July 21st from 3-8 PM. Buy your tickets for the pool party extravaganza on the Gallery Night website for $25 (or just $10 for Regency Plaza residents and college students).
Local artists and galleries will sell their creations at the event, which will also feature live music by steel drummer Aaron Cote, a silent auction, door prizes, and a living statue performance from TEN31 Productions. Food will be provided by Whole Foods, LaSalle Bakery, and Garden Grille/Wildflour, and there will be a cash bar. Artists and auction items include Runcible Spoon, Jerry’s Artarama, Southwest Passage, Sandra Solomon, Felt Like It, Gallery Z, Three Wheel Studio, and Studio Hop.
Gallery Night takes place every third Thursday of the month from March through November. Regency Plaza is the event headquarters, serving as the bus departure location and general information center. In addition to Regency Plaza, the fundraiser is sponsored by: Sir Speedy Printing, Ashley Peck, Whole Foods, LaSalle Bakery, Garden Grille, RISCA, The Providence Tourism Council, City of Providence, and Mayor Angel Taveras.
