Providence Art Festival: June 2nd

UPDATE: UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO THE WEATHER FORECAST, THE JUNE 2nd ART FESTIVAL HAS BEEN CANCELLED. CHECK HERE FOR UPDATES.

We can’t wait for Memorial Day, but in downtown Providence, summer unofficially kicks off the next weekend at the Providence Art Festival. On Saturday, June 2nd, from 10am to 6pm, we’re expecting huge crowds at the event, organized by InDowncity.

This growing festival, now in its 4th year, brings over 100 vendors to Westminster Street selling handmade jewelry, paper goods, ceramics, photography, clothing, baby gifts, handbags, toys and more. It’s sponsored by baby product companies with the newest and most innovative in new products every year, like the Munchkin Jelly Bean reversible sling sponsored by Munchkin this year. Take your time browsing while you enjoy live music from the Silks and food from local favorites tazza caffe, Poco Loco tacos, Fancheezical, Like No Udder, and Flour Girls Baking Co.

We encourage you to take the bus or walk downtown, but if you’re driving, visit parkdowntownprovidence.com for ideas about where to park. Remember: meters are now fully enforced on Saturdays!
